Definition of Education
Education is the process of facilitating learning, or the acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs, and habits. Educational methods include storytelling, discussion, teaching, training, and directed research.


Education frequently takes place under the guidance of educators, however learners may also educate themselves.

Education can take place in formal or informal settings and any experience that has a formative effect on the way one thinks, feels, or acts may be considered educational. The methodology of teaching is called pedagogy.

Formal education is commonly divided formally into such stages as preschool or kindergarten, primary school, secondary school and then college, university, or apprenticeship.

Why is education so important because it is parts of our life. Early Childhood and Higher Education Education is important for success in our life. Education is important for personal character building, social and economic development of a country.

Education is not about achieving fancy grades or obtaining a degree. It is a life-long journey. It helps us build opinions and have points of view on things in life.

Education not only helps us to know the world around us and it allow us to make it into a better world of living. The more we understand the world, the more information we have at our fingertips, the greater our opportunities to see what life is like for “the other”.

Education helps individual to build confidence in decision making skills and critical thinking. Its gives an individual the ability to differential what is right from what is wrong. With the ability to make important decisions and consider all possibilities, individual will no doubt be more successful in their personal and professional lives.

Education is the essential stepping stone to combat poverty. A proper education system brings about a proper workforce. The absence of proper knowledge and skills is directly correlated with poverty and unemployment. It helps to increase productivity, jobs and economic growth.

Education helps individual to develop an interpersonal skills. In school, children are taught to respect parents, teachers and friends. How to properly act around and treats one another.

In school, children are taught about character building. It helps children understand about individual, build confidence, and understand what role can they play in the world.
